We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and just a short walk to the sea and it’s stunning coast line. Originally built for a Ship’s Captain, this spacious charming house has everything to make your special holiday in Cornwall complete. Norwood is quality self catering.

Norwood is in a quiet area of the village. The house with it’s Victorian charm will look after you. Forget what day it is, it really doesn’t matter. Charge your batteries, find new ways of just doing what you want and when you want. Go for a walk on the Coast Path, (mind you you might find you get hooked).

Take the bus to somewhere (how long is it since any of us have been on a bus) Visit Minster Church, magical (you can walk from Norwood up to the fields you see in front of you, back down the valley to the Harbour) Car 2 mins. Don’t fancy any of that, then just mess about at Norwood for the day, have a good read (we have some very good books for your use) perhaps go for a pub lunch. “It’s your hoilday, your time. Enjoy.” At Norwood you have the whole house (no sharing). Bedrooms have their own private facilities. Enclosed safe garden for pets.

About Boscastle

Boscastle, North Cornwall – a beautiful and diverse part of the country.
A paradise for walkers, the wild flowers are stunning, birds and butterflies a plenty.
A wonderful place for all seasons. Sheltered wooded valleys, the Coastal footpath with its magnificent views. From small coves where few venture to the best surfing beaches in the country.
The landscape, coastline and quaint old buildings are undoubtedly the main attraction of this local area. There are also local potteries, art galleries and museums : Museum of Witchcraft, The Davidstow Moor RAF memorial museum and Davidstow airfield & Cornwall at War Museum. Tintagel Castle with it’s Arthurian legend, run by English Heritage and The National Trust Old Post Office are well worth a visit. Physical activities include surfing, coasteering, kayaking, fishing, pony trekking, cycling, tennis and walking.
Trebarwith Strand, Crackington Haven, Watergate Bay and many more for your day on the beach to surf or just to explore.
Port Isaac and Padstow are within easy reach. Hire cycles from Wadebridge, and cycle along the Camel Trail to Padstow (feast on Rick Steins fish and chips), before cycling back to Wadebridge.
Bodmin Moor is one of the least known places in the South West (what a gem), with Roughtor and Brown Willy just two of the beautiful places to walk, (very close to Boscastle).
Boscastle is an excellent base for touring the area. It has old cottages dating back to the 15th Century, we are in the middle of this stunning unspoilt village. The harbour is a much busier place with visitors by day. There is an information centre, paper shop, bakers, grocery store, and several places to eat.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project are in easy reach by car with many more National Trust Houses and Gardens, within easy travelling distance.
